Clinical Supervisors

Maralyn Karpathiou and Gabby Skelsey are qualified to provide clinical supervision.

Clinical supervision is a formal process, between two or more professional staff, which creates a supportive environment encouraging reflective practice and the improvement of therapeutic skills.

Group supervision is provided to health organisations and agencies across Melbourne. This can be conducted at the Bayside Partners premises and/or at agency premises.

Telephone 9018 9356 for further information.

Individual Clinical Supervision

Supervision is used by psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, allied health care workers, managers and other staff in human services delivery programs.

Supervison can be used for:

  • To assist in the professional development of the worker or clinician
  • To meet agency or regulatory needs (such as registration bodies)

Supervision is an ethical and professional necessity.

Supervision can be used to meet regulatory requirements and/or on a specific needs basis, as in response to a particular issue or dilemma.

Group Supervision

Bayside Partners provides group supervision to support the professional development of people working in the health and welfare sector.

These may be:

  • As an extension of previous training
  • For specific purposes
  • Relating to selected assessment protocols
  • Following specific changes to agency or regulatory requirements.
